INTRODUCTION

This snapshot presents safeguarding findings from aid distribution points across the Gaza Strip, supporting the Protection Cluster and PSEA Network’s efforts to promote safe, dignified and accountable assistance. It combines quantitative and qualitative analysis to highlight positive practices, protection concerns and priorities for improvement.

For the 1 June-24 September 2026 reporting period, teams across four governorates recorded 73 safeguarding observations and reported reaching an estimated 2,528 people with protection and PSEA messaging. For the first time, monitoring included authorized vendors supporting humanitarian assistance alongside aid distribution sites.
